Junior Golf Programs
At Grand Cypress Academy of Golf, we pride ourselves in creating the Pros of tomorrow! With our resident Junior Program Instructor John Paige, we can help the junior in your life perfect their game before the bad habits even begin.
Students in our Junior Programs learn early the discipline needed to truly make golf the most enjoyable game invented.
Junior Golf Schools
Offered June through August, our Orlando Junior Golf Schools run Monday through Friday from 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m., and are limited to 24 students, with a 6:1 student to teacher ratio. Instruction highlights include:
- 20 hours of comprehensive instruction
- PGA-certified instructors
- Full-swing analysis
- Short-game skills instruction covering putting, pitch and run, pitching, and bunker play
- Rules and etiquette
- 9-hole tournament
- Skills testing
- Lunch daily with instructors
- Golf-specific stretching and warm-up exercises
- Complimentary beverages at Academy during instruction
- Grand Cypress Academy of Golf logo-ed gift package and engraved personal bag tag
Weekend Junior Golf Clinics
While we would love to offer our Junior Golf Schools throughout the whole year, the kids do have to go to their 'other' school! But golf education doesn't have to stop during the school year... join us every Saturday or Sunday for Weekend Junior Golf Clinics.
Saturday Clinics are for juniors between the ages of 6 and 12; Sunday Clinics are reserved for the teenage years, ages 13-18. All clinics are held from 2:00 p.m. until 4:00 p.m., from August through May. One hour will be spent on Full Swing techniques and one hour on the Short Game. This is a perfect time for kids to brush up on the techniques they have learned in our summer Junior Golf Schools.
Clinics are just $35 per session, and students should be registered in advance. Contact the Academy at 407-239-1975 for more details.
